The BEST barbershop around! I’m very particular about how my hair gets cut and Eric is a hair master! I always leave his shop with an amazing haircut. Eric has been cutting my hair for years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else! If you want a stylish, modern, precise haircut then Eric is your guy! I also get a beard trim when I go and he does an amazing job on this too! I highly recommend 969 Barbershop!

I was searching for a place to tame my overgrown hair, which had been growing wild since the pandemic, and stumbled upon this barber shop with excellent ratings. I decided to give it a try and called in the afternoon to ask about walk-ins. Eric warmly welcomed me to come in, and I was lucky to have Julia cut my hair. She worked with such care and precision, and the result was fantastic! The professionalism, skill, and friendliness here are top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this lovely establishment—thank you!

This place is the best. Been coming here for years. Anyone who takes care of you is top notch. They even know my hairstyle so it’s super convenient. I’ve had Khaim take care of my cut a few times and he goes the extra mile to make sure you love it. Hot towel at the end is so relaxing. I have been getting my hair cut by Chaim for forever, and the experience has always been amazing. Every time I go, my head feels lighter and it is such a boost to my self esteem/morale for the day/days after. There is always the opportunity to discuss adjustments to routine cuts or for initial consultations. I, for one, do a little seasonality by keeping my hair a wee bit longer during the cold months and shorter during the warm ones. The cuts always look great even a month out, and I find that my hair generally grows back more even following each visit. The vibe at 969 is always chill, and it's fun to hear stories from Chaim as well as the other barbers and patrons. If you're looking for a new place, definitely come in and feel free to ask for Chaim. It's an easy commute from most parts of Manhattan as well.

I love this place! I’ve spent 4 years looking for a decent barbershop in the neighborhood. After a year of cuts, I can confidently say this is my place. I just moved out of the neighborhood but still coming here. I’ve had everyone there cut my hair, they are all great and very professional. But if I had to choose 1, I’d go for Khaim, he’s my favorite.
